WRKSHRT founders and operators David Cleeland & Wade Dunstan on location in Scotland.
We’re both from Wyoming, so we do pretty well in bad weather, expect that most days won’t go as planned, and are always down to shoot some pool. We learned filmmaking in the mountains too, so that means we’re used to carrying everything on our backs, and always bringing a knife.
Limitations and challenges have become some of our favorite tools, mostly because tinkering and problem solving is what we grew up doing and has always been fun for us. We’ve come to understand and appreciate what a self-reliant and curious team can produce, and we try to always have a great time doing it.
WRKSHRT is rooted in our love for the process and adventure of filmmaking, and all the folks we get to share stories with along the way. This pushes us to create work that is relatable and inspiring, even if we have to capture it in ways that might seem unconventional.
